four Norway spruce trees to the city of
Emporia. On April 29 Mayor Kevin Nelson and

tree at Jones Park with several Lions
looking on. Bob Symmonds, Club president,
said, “This is a way of giving back to all
of the people who contribute to our
projects.” Lion Gary Post worked with the
Park Department to arrange the planting.
